Madrid is well known for being a very warm and welcoming city, at least that’s what most people say when they visit the city for holidays, spend a long season here or move in definitively. And they do have a point; both the city and its people are very welcoming.
Madrid, although it is a noisy place (which is the first thing that comes to mind of a big capital city) is also a city full of life, it is generous, tolerant, elegant, traditional and at the same time always in continuous evolution and development, forever incorporating new trends.
People from Madrid, both native and adoptive, love to welcome new people, we love to share our city and we pride on being known worldwide. We like everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy its beautiful places and the wide range of cultural and leisure activities that occur every day of the year.
Madrid has a lot of history, an impressive cultural and artistic heritage, museums of international importance, the most relevant sectorial fairs and congresses; it is visited by millions of people every year, which makes the capital a very open and multicultural city.
